Krakow in our bag

It takes more or less 3 hours to get to Krakow from Warsaw. We arrived there from Warsaw. We did travel most of the poland and we believe Krakow is the most touristic city of Poland.

We think that its the only city in poland that most of the people knows English and welcoming the strangers. Well you might disagree but according to our experiences Polish people are not soo friendly for the outlanders till they get to know them.

Beneath Irene's Feet there is the one of the most costly and Hi-Tech Museum in Krakow. The museum is now in the underground of the modern city but the 80% of the museum (actually the city) is still not being used.

The tour guide told us that Krakow people left the 80% of the discovery of the underground city for the future generations

St. Marry Church is located at the main square in krakow, its worth to see and visit. Most of the Churches in poland are more or less have the similiar charecteristic structure but this church was famous not cause of its beauty cause of the events that happen there. every day there is a symbolic call at the top of this church.

Polish people use to use this church's tower as a watch tower so the enemy killed the watchmen when he was on duty thats why there is a symbolic call everyday.

Most of the historical and important structures in the city are nearly at the same area around the main square with nice restaurants, gifth shops and of course with the beggars.

Auscwitz, the living memory of the past,. a mirror to the past. Actually it makes us sad to talk about it, to talk about the cruelty and the slaughter that happen there.

We suggest you to go and vitness the most dramatic and the shamefull times of the human history. Vitness the past and do not forget and do not let it forgotten.

This street is the place where Nazis used to count the prisoners, well i say prisoners cause they were not just Jews. There were many people collected from around the europe, Hungarians, Politicians, Rebels, Gypsies and the ones that stand against the Nazis.

Watch tower in Auscwitz

Auscwitz is not a camp folks, its a grave really, it makes us sad to say this but these owens were being used to burn the people.

This is one of the place where they used to keep people. No stove, no blanket nothing at the freezing cold of the poland.

Enough of this much Cruelty lets talk about the night life in Krakow. There are Many clubs and bars in Krakow but the problem is to find a good one. Really its a big big problem.

Around the streets you will definitely see girls with Pink umbrellas, These girls are inviting you to striptiz clubs and similiar places like in all cities of poland.

But if you get lost between the streets and search for it you can find nice and funny places to enjoy.

St. Marry Church

If you like to take photos go with guys like him :)

Wawel Castle and Cathedral
Wawel castle is a really well protected castle and a cathedral unfortunately we didnt have a chance to visit the cathedral because they didnt let us in to the cathedral cause there was a mass(service) inside.

Wawel Castle and Cathedral
So be careful the times you go there you might climb the hill but you might not see all.

If you are looking for gift shops we suggest you to go around the wawel castles. The gift shops around the skirts of the castle are really cheap when we compare wıth the other gift shops in krakow.

Panoroma Across the River

Behind the St. Marry Church

Front panaroma of the main square
Behind panaroma of the main square
Well we couldnt join the salt mine tours cause first thing is we find it boring, its a long way and its expensive and we tought its not worthy.

Main Gate to the Krakow city
